Celebrating 1 Year Anniversary

Same Gender Loving Expressions (SGLE), the official syndicated radio talk show of Meak Productions, celebrates its 1st  Anniversary of worldwide broadcasting with a 2nd  New Syndication partnership with Click Click Expose (Gay Entertainment Media) (CCE).  After the tremendous success of its one year run on The NEW Exceptional Radio Network (ERN) (1st  Syndication partner & Straight Ally), SGLE has opened up numerous doors of opportunity to market & promote the mission of the World’s First LGBT EXCLUSIVE Talent Agency, Casting and Production Company.

Created and launched in Atlanta, Georgia, Meak Productions’ main mission is to provide an avenue of marketing exposure and performance opportunities to LGBT Talent, as well as create a more professional equal and diverse image of LGBT Culture, which in turn will help prevent the current stereotypes and discrimination towards the community as a whole.

Same Gender Loving Expressions Radio Show

Same Gender Loving Expressions is a special commentary radio show focusing on REAL current issues and happenings within the LGBT Community locally and worldwide, consisting of a variety of special guest and serious topics ranging from political to spirituality.

SGLE became the first official LGBT syndicated radio show on the NEW Exceptional Radio Network, official radio broadcasting subsidiary of the Tenth Amendment Media Group (TAMG), in August 2009 which landed Meak Productions as the company’s first LGBT Liaisons.  Inspired by TAMG’s interest to reach out to the LGBT community, SGLE provides a wholesome VOICE and avenue for members of the LGBT Community to tell their true story while providing wholesome education to the show’s gay and heterosexual following. “The success of SGL Expressions has really been surprisingly amazing,” stated Miko Evans, Meak Productions’ CEO. “We had no plans or ideas of creating a LGBT talk show until we met with ERN. They expressed reaching out to the community, and supporting a radio show that dealt with real issues that was in line with their slogan, “Speaking It, Discussing It, DOING IT!” We felt our visions we’re evenly yoked so we became a perfect fit for the network, and they became Meak Pro’s first media syndication partner and heterosexual allies.”

“After hearing a very stereotypical talk radio geared towards the GLBT audience in 2006, I knew that this community deserved better. Hence began our vision to bring wholesome GLBT talk to the Exceptional Radio Network,” stated Dominique Huff, TAMG’s CEO/Founder. “With Meak Productions being the first GLBT talent, casting and production company in the world, they were eager to take on our vision and bring it to heights that we never imagined. Thanks to Meak Pro and their connections, we are now a part of the history of the first International Day Against Homophobia in Atlanta, as well as other significant events in Atlanta’s LGBT Community. Meak Pro was also one of the first outside sources to provide our music shows with new music from his music talent roster, which has now become ERN favorites, such as Tony Enos, Todd Vaughan, Dairon Skye, Marlowe Rainbow, Bone Intell and JKnight.”

The new partnership with Click Click Expose (Gay Entertainment Media) brings a more evolved and broader focus to SGLE and the Meak Pro vision as a whole. “We at Click Click Expose are pleased to enter into a syndication partnership with Meak Productions, Inc. Through our new partnership, Meak Productions will be able to utilize the platforms created by CCE to distribute multi-media internet entertainment to his growing worldwide audience”, stated Thomas Garnet, Co-Owner/Manager of CCE. “The internet has changed the way we find and consume entertainment,” says CCE Owner Adrian Uribazo. “Since 1996, Click Click Expose has created multiple platforms to take advantage of the every changing demands of consumers.”

CCE created the Nation’s First LGBT Video Sharing website known as Planet Q TV, has provided podcasting via the Click Click Expose Gay Podcast Network for more than 4 1/2 years, and is planning to re-launch CCE Radio in late 2010. “Click Click Expose shares the vision of Meak Productions in bringing together the talent, diversity and creativity of the LGBT community and showcasing those artistic works to the world.”

Meak Productions via SGL Expressions is the Official Worldwide Radio Sponsors of In The Life Atlanta’s Annual Atlanta Black Gay Pride Celebration and Southern Xplosion Atlanta 2010 on Labor Day Weekend. The Executive Team of ITLA were the first Guest to appear in a 2 Part Sneak Peak (Pilot) Episode of SGLE back in August of 2009 before the show went full time on ERN’s Fall Season Line-Up on Monday night, September 21, 2009.

  2. Steven,

Coming out is personal and takes time. Don’t rush it and don’t do before you are ready. Take the time to know yourself and who you are, develop your own personality and characteristics that define you – be comfortable with yourself. Once you clear that hurdle, than the take the small steps to telling others around you. There is no hurry and there is no easy answer to this question but there is a lot of support out there for you.

    Good luck!!
